Engr. Ashim Oyekan is a thorough-bred professional who has delivered at the top level of his profession and in public service. An alumnus of the prestigious Government College, Ibadan and King’s College, Lagos, he had his first degree in Civil Engineering from Tufts University.
He also has a Masters of Science degree in Structural Engineering from University of California, Berkeley, and a Masters of Business Administration (Management Science, Finance and Accounting) from University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.
He started out as a Management Trainee with GTE International in Stamford, USA and was selected to take part in the multinational company’s 1975-77 corporate strategic plan because of his stand-out performance. Worthy of note, Engr. Oyekan was the Project Manager for the foundation work on the first Earth Satellite Station in Lanlate, Oyo State for the erstwhile Nigeria External Telecommunication (NET).
He returned to Nigeria as the Operations Manager of GTE Nigeria, the multinational’s subsidiary company in Nigeria. He was in charge of installing, operating and maintaining the vast communication and transmission systems for the company’s corporate clients including Mobil Producing Nigeria, Shell Development Corporation, Greater Lagos Radio and P & T. In 1987, he moved to Kabelmetal Nigeria Plc. Ikeja as the Sales Marketing Manager.
His foray into public service started in 1994 when he honoured the invitation to serve on the Lagos State Executive Council. At various times, he served as the Honourable Commissioner for Environment and Physical Planning, as well as the Honourable Commissioner for Agriculture, Co-operatives and Rural Development.
Engr. Oyekan has served on the Boards of a number of blue-chip companies including:
- Nigerian Cement Company, Nkalagu
- Sokoto-Rima River Basin Development Authority
- LASACO Assurance Plc (as Chairman)
- Afribank Nigeria Plc
He is a member of the Council of Registered Engineers of Nigeria (COREN), a Fellow of the Nigerian Society of Engineers, a member of the Association of Consulting Engineers Nigeria, and a member of the Institute of Directors (IoD).
He also belongs to a number of veritable social clubs including Eko Club and Rotary International Club of Surulere (District 9110) which he led as a past President, Ikoyi Club 1938 and Ikeja Golf Club.

Mohammed Usman, is a seasoned bureaucrat having had a very successful career which culminated in his appointment as a Director in the Borno State Civil Service. He obtained a first degree in Public Administration from the Usman Dan Fodio University, Sokoto, Nigeria
He held a number of key and ad-hoc positions during his over twenty-seven-year career in the public service which began in 1982. He was noted among the top achievers and performers.
On retirement, he ventured into business in real estate and has been recognised as a top player in the real estate sector in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

Mrs.Lateefah Okunnu is a retired Civil Servant with a wealth of administrative experience. She holds a Diploma in Education and a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree in Geography.
Her fulfilling career in the Lagos State Civil Service and the Federal Civil Service was highlighted by her appointment as a Permanent Secretary in 1986, and later as the Director General in the Political Affairs Office of the State Governor’s Office. In 1990, she was elected the Deputy Governor of Lagos State under the flag of the National Republican Convention (NRC). She also served as the Chairman of the Caretaker Committee of the party.
She is a director on the board of Lotus Capital Limited, a Halal Investment and Financial Services Company. She has served on the Governing Council of several Tertiary Educational Institutions and is a member of the National Inter-religious Council, a body of eminent Nigerians set up to promote dialogue and inter-religious understanding among the different religions practiced in Nigeria.
Mrs.Okunnu is a founding member and former National Amirah of the Federation of Muslim Women’s Associations of Nigeria (FOMWAN). She is the current Assistant Secretary- General for Africa of the International Muslim Women’s Union (IMWU) as well as the National Coordinator of Muslim League for Accountability (MULAC), an organisation established to champion transparency and accountability in the private and public lives of Muslims and in the Nigerian society at large.
Mrs.Okunnu is a recipient of a National award of Officer of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (O.F.R) and Honorary Doctoral Degree from Usman Dan Fodio University in Sokoto, Nigeria.

Adeola Akere is a Fellow of both the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (FIIN) and the Nigerian Council of Registered Insurance Brokers (FCIB). He is a versatile insurance practitioner and an academic of repute with well over Twenty years’ experience in Insurance practice, all in the Insurance Broking sector.

Adeola Akere is a graduate of Insurance from Lagos State Polytechnic where he obtained the Higher National Diploma in Insurance with Distinction. He also holds an MBA degree from the Federal University of Technology, Akure Ondo State.
Adeola is a Fellow of both the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (FIIN) and the Nigerian Council of Registered Insurance Brokers (FCIB). He is a versatile insurance practitioner and an academic of repute with well over Twenty years’ experience in Insurance practice, all in the Insurance Broking sector.
Adeola Akere gathered his wealth of experience from Guvnor Insurance Consultants and Boof Africa Insurance Brokers. He was the General Manager/CEO of Haymill Insurance Brokers Limited and Henry Phillipson Insurance Brokers Limited between 1996 and 1999. He joined PSIBL Insurance Brokers Limited as the pioneer General Manager in 1999 and rose to be the CEO, his position until he left in June 2012 to join Davisther Insurance Brokers Limited as the Managing Director/CEO up until April 2018 that he left Davisther.
Adeola who has attended several training programmes, conferences and seminars on Insurance technical operations, Marketing and Management, is now the Managing Director/CEO of LIBRA Insurance Brokers Limited.
ALHAJI ALIYU BALARABE SAULAWA (DIRECTOR)

Alhaji Saulawa, a seasoned broadcaster, educationist and administrator, is an alumnus of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria and the University of Pittsburgh. He honed his skills in the service of the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) in the 1960s.
During his over two decade-career as an educationist, he was a teacher and an inspector of education with the then Northern Nigeria government. He was also a lecturer at the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria where he oversaw the prestigious institution’s Administrative Training Programme.
As an administrator, he served in various capacities in the erstwhile North-Central State, the Public Service Review Commission (Udoji Review Commission) established the government of General Yakubu Gowon, Funtua Agricultural Development Project (World Bank/Federal Government Project) and also as General Manager of Nigerian Grains Board.
AlhajiSaulawa was the Chairman of Katsina State Development Fund Appeal Committee and also the Administrative Committee on Reorganisation of Katsina Agricultural and Rural Development Authority and Farmers Supply Company.
